Wörwag’s stationery plays with visual references to varnish surfaces via layers and reflections.
 
By superimposing single elements, which are drawn from Wörwag’s three-dimensional varnish samples, specific patterns are generated. These are applied to the back of each of the media. The special silver colour on open-pore paper produces a matt metallic effect. The fronts stand apart for their functional simplicity and carefully positioned typography.
