An advertising concept was developed for the 90th anniversary of Hanwag, the Bavarian mountain boot manufacturer. The concept involves donating a bivouac shelter for mountaineers.
 
In the anniversary year, the aluminium emergency shelter was presented first of all to select retailers and at trade shows all over Germany and accompanied by ads, flyers and social media. A helicopter flew it to its permanent position on the Jubiläumsgrat near the Zugspitze. Since then it has offered up to 12 mountaineers shelter from bad weather and the dark.
